Memorial School Council

At Memorial Public School, we believe that parents are important and make a real difference to children's learning. When parents are involved children do better and achieve more. School Council allows everyone involved in school life - parents, learners, teachers, school staff and the wider community to work together to support the school. It also allows all parents to have a say in their children's education by affording the opportunity to express their views and ideas.

To inquire about becoming a member of our school council, please call Memorial Public School at (905) 685-7347, or send us an email.

All parents are encouraged to come out and get involved with our vibrant school community. If you are interested in getting involved in the subcommittee work, leave your name and area of interest at the office.

Why should I get involved?
The personal advantages of becoming a school council member include:
- being an important partner in the education system, whose views are valued;
- contributing to the shared goal of improving student achievement;
- having a vehicle through which to express opinions;
